Review: Collection Illuminating Touch Concealer

Sorry for the lack of posts guys! I’ve had internet problems the past few days but I’m gonna do my best to make up for it

Today I’m going to be reviewing Collection’s Illuminating Touch Concealer.

collectionreview

A while ago I reviewed the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer, but when I went to Boots to pick up a new one, I thought I’d give this one a go. It is really similar to the YSL Touche Eclat, which is what attracted me to it. Here’s a bit more about what I thought of it.

Coverage not as good as Lasting Perfection

The coverage given by this product, while good, is not quite as good as the Lasting Perfection Concealer. However, I still find the product really good for covering dark circles and blemishes.

Easy application

With the brush applicator, it is really easy to use this product. I find it particularly good under my eyes, as the brush is soft and gentle and not harsh on delicate skin.

Great for under-eye illumination

It’s called ‘Illuminating Touch’ for a reason. I’ve found this product really helps to brighten underneath my eyes, even after a bad night’s sleep.

Good for highlighting

I’ve been using this product as a highlight as well as a concealer. I apply it underneath my eyes and around my nose as well as on my chin and on any blemishes. It’s a great multi-purpose product.

Side note: If you are finding that you are twisting the end and no product is coming out, KEEP TWISTING. Initially it does take quite a while to get any product out to ensure the product remains unused in the shop.

Overall: 3.5/5
Repurchase?: Yes, for use alongside the Lasting Perfection Concealer
Shade Used: Natural
Price Range: £4.99 (Boots UK)

Thats all for now guys. Apologies again for the lack of posts. Have a great rest of the weekend!
